Steps involved in creating your own custom channel URL

1. Click on Settings by clicking on your channel icon/profile picture

There are some eligibility criteria to get custom URL. To create a custom URL for your channel, your account needs to:

Have 100 or more subscribers
Be at least 30 days old
Have an uploaded photo as a channel icon
Have uploaded channel art

Check whether your channel is eligible for custom URL

If you are eligible then click on “Claim it now“

4. Choose/enter a name for your custom url

A popup will open up where in & YouTube suggests a custom URL for your channel and by default.

It is mostly like youtube.com/c/yourchannelname.

You can manually change your channel name by choosing second option or if you are ok with it then continue.

Which ever option you choose, you need to click on checkbox adjacent to agree to terms and conditions and then click on change URL

Choose a custom name for your YouTube URL or you can change it as well

5. YouTube will ask to confirm your choice, Click on “Confirm”

Last step is to confirm your custom url for your channel

And once you click on Confirm, your custom URL is ready to use.

you can even check it by going to URL which you just created.

In my case, I’ve created my custom URL as youtube.com/c/venkatakarthk
